We are delighted to have been appointed the sole UK distributor for "Trendsetter Yarns" from the USA. Trendsetter celebrated 17 years at the design forefront of innovative fashion yarns in November 2005. Barry Klein, the founder and President of Trendsetter Yarns, has been voted one of the most influential men in world knitting of all time. His dedication to supplying yarns in an amazing array of texture, fibre and colour combinations takes him regularly around the world where he then carefully selects and designs a new yarn combination.
Trendsetter Yarns pride themselves on offering one of the most inventive and diverse palette selections of any yarn company. In addition the colour palettes are offered throughout the yarn categories enabling customers to follow a colour theme, but also introduce new textures to a garment. Pictured above are two of the leading Trendsetter yarns, Dune and Segue ribbon.
Pictured above is the beautiful "Trendsetter Segue Ribbon" - it is very popular with knitters, embroiders and textile artists.
Trendsetter also offer a classic yarn range, under the “Lane Borgosesia” label, featuring beautiful 100% merino, available in an astonishing 42 shades, spun at a long established mill in Italy. Trendsetter are also one of the few companies to offer 100% Angora yarn in a staggering selection of 38 shades. Manufactured in France by the most established Angora producer in the world …. one touch and you won’t go anywhere else for angora.
Another of Trendsetter’s strengths is the design team working on pattern support for the yarns. Barry, along with Fayla Reiss and Jane Slicer Smith have put together highly imaginative designs to suit all skills and styles. Barry and Fayla’s book “Knitovation” has also encouraged newer knitters to move from scarves to garments, whilst also encouraging experienced knitters to have fun with texture and colour using Trendsetter Yarns.
