The Louet yarns include the beautiful Louet Euroflax, Louet KidLin and Louet MerLin. All of these yarns contain Linen and feel luxurious to the touch.
Euroflax is a long line linen yarn made out of flax-fibre, which is custom wet spun for Louet North America. The factory where Louet's yarn is spun has been in operation for several generations and they are capable of very high quality, fine yarn production including double-boiling the yarn to give us a very soft and exceptional quality. The Euroflax is also steam processed to produce maximum softness.
KidLin yarn is a unique combination of Kid Mohair and Euroflax Linen in a superb selection of colours. This beautifully soft, delicate yarn is perfect for delicate garments that are warm with wonderful drape. Utterly luxurious, KidLin has it all, with the secret strength of Linen!
This gorgeous pattern pictured to the left is the 'Lileth' floaty shrug. Buttons and ties make it very versatile, so that it can be worn as a shrug, a vest, or a wrap. Best of all, it's an easy knit in one piece from cuff to cuff in Louet KidLin Lace Weight yarn. The shrug is shown in colour 'Bryce Canyon No. 46', KidLin Lace Weight.

The other stunning yarn in this little trio is MerLin. Louet's MerLin yarn is an inspired blend of super soft Gems Merino and wet spun Euroflax Linen. These two high quality yarns combine to make a wonderful yarn with beautiful drape and soft handle. The linen yarn provides strength and sheen to Louet's soft merino wool. The Louet MerLin is available in a selection of 30 solid colours and between 4 and 10 blended colours, depending on the yarn weight (4 ply or Double Knit).
